Congratulations
Bonita Matrix U-14 Boys are off to a fast start. They followed an incredible performance at the Rady’s Children Hospital Charity Cup (4 wins and 1 loss) with a Silver Medal at the 2007 California State Games.
What makes this second place finish even more amazing is the fact that they were paired against teams that were U-15 and U-16. Despite nursing injuries and playing most of the last game with 10 players, Bonita never gave up and kept attacking until the final whistle.
U-16 Calexico Jaguars, one of the best teams in the Mexicali (Mexico) league went undefeated and took the Gold Medal. Opposing players and coaches praised Bonita’s outstanding effort.
Coach Greg Krumm and Team Manager Ignacio Vazquez are very proud of their team.
